Bore and Bevel plates are the most standard method of limiting the plate edge (land) thickness. The bore is concentric with the outer diameter of the plate with a bevel machined on a 45° angle to the desired edge thickness.
* A drain hole can be added to the plate to pass liquids entrapped in gas lines, or a vent hole to pass gases in liquid lines.
